Well for those who are wondering about my inactivity on messengers or here, I guess I have bad news for you (well bad news in my opinion, dunno if people care or not) - my laptop's dead. It seems that I overused the hard drive and the thing burned down in the end...

I'm trying to recover it, but it will probably take around a month to do so (a month to know if the whole wait was in vain or not at least), after that we'll see what happens. Right now I'll try to check my email and a few sites such as these to keep up with the times, while I'm in university.

I have been promised a new, much more powerful computer by my family, so that I could finally keep up with my uni work, but I have no idea how long that will take (nothing is simple and fast with my family). I tried looking for a computer specification that might support 3D Studio Max 9 to its full potential (as well as other things), but the price went over £1000. My brother tells me that he can get me the same thing for cheaper prices through his friends and connections - but I'm not too happy with that idea - for all I know the stuff might be incompatible in the end, or in bad condition, or it could be something completely different. Anywho, we'll see how this crap works out.

At the moment I'm bored as hell since I have nothing to do most of the weeks. Some of you might say: "Hey, why not give the 'outside world' a chance and have a walk around, or hang around your friends?". Well for one thing I live in the countryside (village) and it takes me a bloody hour to get anywhere. And there's nothing in the village as well. Secondly, all my friends either live 30 miles away or are in Latvia. So the only friend I got around is who lives a nocturnal life and never gets out of his room.

Other than that, a specific university assignment taught me how to make storyboards and animatics, so I decided to do a WCT chapter 1 storyboard (I already have 4 pages - that's 8 frames per page) since I take forever to make a page (motivation is hard to get).

Anywho, as soon as this thing clears up, you'll know...
